La creación de RTVA en 1987 fue la primera decisión política sobre el audiovisual en Andalucía. Poco a poco fue surgiendo un sector empresarial privado y conformándose un incipiente tejido profesional propio.

Antes de que eso fuera una realidad pujante, propusimos en 1998 a RTVA la creación de Andalucía Film Commission siguiendo los modelos internacionales, para atraer rodajes y para promocionar fuera nuestros activos.

En estos años, esa estrategia conjunta ha permitido que Andalucía cuente ya con una industria audiovisual emprendedora con profesionales altamente cualificados que han fomentado y captado el talento de creadores cuyas obras se proyectan en múltiples pantallas en España y todo el mundo por las que han recibido numerosos galardones nacionales e internacionales.

AFC fue pionera en estas actividades de promoción como lo fue en la explotación de las posibilidades turísticas de los rodajes de toda suerte de películas y series.

A punto de cumplir treinta años de actividad ininterrumpida, gracias a la colaboración público-privada, AFC afronta los nuevos retos en la búsqueda de nuevos mercados como el indio y otros, estimula la promoción de su patrimonio público y privado y participa de las estrategias más dinámicas para el futuro del audiovisual equilibrando el fomento de la cultura y las oportunidades empresariales.

Somos orgullosos miembros del ecosistema audiovisual en cuyas posibilidades creímos cuando era solo una aspiración hasta ahora que es una realidad.

Hoy podemos decir que hemos cumplido con nuestro papel instrumental.

Desde la creación de Andalucía Film Commission en 1998 he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a muchos talentos que  con pasión han cuidado cada detalle para que la escena final fuera  convincente y poderosa.

Llevaba años pensando en esta exposición y gracias a la invitación de la Embajada de España en Berlín es hoy una realidad. Una exposición que inauguramos durante la Berlinale, pero que ya tenemos intención todo el equipo de AFC, de seguir ampliando en contenidos y que se siga viajando y se siga poniendo en valor el talento técnico y artístico andaluz.

El cine, el audiovisual vive momentos complejos.

Que esta muestra sirva para destacar el talento tras unas palabras en un guion, la música que conmueve, las texturas de un tejido elegido, las muescas en el espacio, el maquillaje de una herida, el montaje, el efecto especial, la localización elegida… todo suma para poner en valor la historia.

Un homenaje desde la admiración a quienes trabajan tras la escena en Andalucía.

Die Gründung der RTVA (Radio y Televisión de Andalucía) im Jahr 1987 stellte die erste politische Entscheidung zugunsten des audiovisuellen Sektors in Andalusien dar. Schritt für Schritt entstand ein privater Unternehmenssektor, und ein noch junger, professioneller Nährboden begann sich zu entwickeln.

Noch bevor sich diese Dynamik vollständig entfalten konnte, schlugen wir der RTVA im Jahr 1998 die Gründung der Andalucía Film Commission vor – nach internationalen Vorbildern –, um Dreharbeiten anzuziehen und die Stärken Andalusiens über seine Grenzen hinaus bekannt zu machen.

In all der Zeit hat diese gemeinsame Strategie dazu beigetragen, dass Andalusien heute über eine unternehmerisch geprägte und gefestigte audiovisuelle Industrie verfügt. Sie wird von hochqualifizierten Fachkräften getragen, die das Talent zahlreicher Kreativer gefördert und angezogen haben, deren Werke auf Leinwänden in Spanien und weltweit gezeigt werden und mit nationalen wie internationalen Auszeichnungen gewürdigt wurden. 

Die AFC spielte früh eine zentrale Rolle dabei, Andalusien international als audiovisuellen Standort zu positionieren und zugleich die touristischen Potenziale von Film- und Seriendrehorten sichtbar zu machen.

Kurz vor ihrem dreißigjährigen Jubiläum blickt die AFC, getragen von der öffentlich-privaten Zusammenarbeit, neuen Herausforderungen entgegen: der Erschließung neuer Märkte wie Indien, der weiteren Förderung und Sichtbarmachung des öffentlichen wie privaten audiovisuellen Erbes Andalusiens sowie der aktiven Mitgestaltung dynamischer Strategien für die Zukunft des audiovisuellen Schaffens – stets im ausgewogenen Zusammenspiel von kultureller Förderung und unternehmerischen Chancen.

Wir sind stolze Mitglieder eines audiovisuellen Ökosystems, an dessen Potenzial wir geglaubt haben, als es noch eine Vision war – und das heute gelebte Realität ist.

Heute können wir sagen, dass wir unseren Beitrag geleistet haben.

Seit der Gründung der Andalucía Film Commission im Jahr 1998 hatte ich die Gelegenheit, zahlreichen Talenten zu begegnen, die mit großer Leidenschaft jedes Detail gestalten, damit eine Filmszene am Ende ihre volle Kraft und Überzeugung entfalten kann.

Lange Zeit schon hat mich der Gedanke an diese Ausstellung begleitet. Dank der Einladung der Spanischen Botschaft in Berlin ist sie heute Realität geworden. Eine Ausstellung, die wir zur Berlinale eröffnen, und die wir alle hier bei der AFC weiter inhaltlich ausbauen möchten – damit sie weiterreisen kann und weiterhin das technische und künstlerische Talent Andalusiens sichtbar macht und wertschätzt.

Das Kino, das audiovisuelle Schaffen, durchlebt komplexe Zeiten.

Möge diese Ausstellung dazu beitragen, das Talent hinter den Zeilen eines Drehbuchs hervorzuheben: die bewegende Musik, die Texturen eines ausgewählten Stoffes, die Spuren im Raum, das Make-up einer Wunde, den Schnitt, die Spezialeffekte, den gewählten Drehort … all dies trägt dazu bei, einer Geschichte Wert und Bedeutung zu verleihen.

Eine Hommage aus Bewunderung an all jene, die in Andalusien hinter den Kulissen arbeiten.

The creation of RTVA in 1987 was the first political decision regarding the film industry in Andalusia. Little by little, a private business sector emerged and an incipient professional network began to take shape.

Before this became a thriving reality, in 1998 we proposed to RTVA the creation of the Andalucía Film Commission, following international models, to attract film shoots and promote our assets abroad.

In recent years, this joint strategy has enabled Andalusia to develop an entrepreneurial film industry with highly qualified professionals who have fostered and attracted the talent of creators whose works are screened in multiple cinemas in Spain and around the world, for which they have received numerous national and international awards.

AFC was a pioneer in these promotional activities, as it was in exploiting the tourism potential of filming all kinds of films and series.

About to celebrate thirty years of uninterrupted activity, thanks to public-private partnership, AFC is facing new challenges in the search for new markets such as India and others, stimulating the promotion of its public and private heritage and participating in the most dynamic strategies for the future of the film industry, balancing the promotion of culture and business opportunities.

We are proud members of the audiovisual ecosystem, whose potential we believed in when it was just an aspiration and which is now a reality.

Today, we can say that we have fulfilled our instrumental role.

Since the creation of the Andalucía Film Commission in 1998, I have had the opportunity to meet many talented people who have passionately taken care of every detail to ensure that the final scene is convincing and powerful.

I had been thinking about this exhibition for years, and thanks to the invitation from the Spanish Embassy in Berlin, it is now a reality. We are opening the exhibition during the Berlinale, but the entire AFC team intends to continue expanding its content so that it can continue to travel and showcase Andalusia’s technical and artistic talent.

Cinema and the film industry are going through difficult times.

The aim of this exhibition is to highlight the talent behind the words in a script, the music that moves us, the textures of a chosen fabric, the notches in the space, the make-up of a wound, the editing, the special effects, the chosen location… everything comes together to enhance the story.

A tribute to those who work behind the scenes in Andalusia.
